Lightning Kills 3 in Different Parts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Lightning claimed three lives in three different incidents in Odisha on Monday. Three persons were also injured during these lightning strikes.

A person named Balakrishna Bariha of Gotali village in Ganjam district’s Belguntha block died and two others were injured when lightning struck them while they were working outside.

In Rayagada district, a woman identified as Salai Majhi of Naktiguda village of Rayagada Tikiri police station was killed by lightning while she was collecting mangoes in the forest.

Arman Dhir and Kunal Gagarai were struck by lightning in Jajpur district while they were returning home from their tuition. Arman died on the spot and Kunal was admitted to the medical center in critical condition.
