Looters Use JCB to Rob ATM in Balasore Dist, Flee With Cash Worth Lakhs

Balasore: Unidentified miscreants reportedly used a JCB to uproot and loot an ATM Bahanaga area of Odisha’s Balasore district on Sunday. According to sources, the robbers decamped with cash worth over 26 lakh.

Challenging the security of ATM counters as well as ATM machines, this gang used the excavator to uproot and break open the SBI ATM machine at Bahanaga market. The miscreants managed to escape with the cash in the ATM machine.

This brazen loot attempt came to the fore when locals spotted the broken ATM kiosk on Monday morning and informed the police.

Police have started an investigation to track down the culprits behind this ATM loot.
