Man Kills Live-In Partner for Refusing Sex in Indore, Had Got Together Through Instagram

Bhopal: A 20-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her live-in partner in Indore of Madhya Pradesh for refusing to have sex with him. The accused, Praveen Singh Dhakad (24), was arrested on Wednesday.

The deceased and the accused were living together in a rented house in the Raoji Bazaar area of Indore. They had come together through Instagram, police sources said.

According to police sources, the woman was killed on December 7 and her body was recovered by police on December 9.

As per reports, Praveen got angry when the victim refused to have physical relations with him and he stabbed her in the neck with a pair of scissors. The woman died on the spot. Following the murder, the accused locked up the house and fled.
