Mathura: The Allahabad High Court on Thursday gave its approval to a survey of the Shahi Idgah Mosque in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura.
Ranjana Agnihotri, one of the petitioners, told The Indian Express, “The Allahabad High Court has allowed a survey by a Commission of the site. More details will be out when the order copy is uploaded.”
The Allahabad High Court was hearing a petition that sought a video survey of the Shahi Idgah Mosque in Mathura and the right of Hindus to offer prayers on its premises. A similar survey was allowed by the Varanasi court at the Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi.
