Haryana Woman Cons Cops to Escape With Jailed Husband on Scooter

Chandigarh: A Haryana woman managed to make her jailed husband escape from Hodal on her scooter by tricking three cops guarding him.

These three policemen from Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura now face a case of negligence. They had who had brought the undertrial prisoner to Haryana for a court hearing.

Police teams are in search of the fugitive and his wife. A case has been registered against the woman.

The escaped prisoner, Anil from Hodal in Haryana’s Palwal district has at least eight cases pending against him in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. He was lodged in a Mathura jail in connection with a case against him in Uttar Pradesh.

The UP cops recently brought Anil to Hodal for a court hearing in an attempt to murder case pending against him. This UP police team included an Assistant Sub-Inspector and two constables.

After the court hearing the three UP policemen started their journey to Mathura along with Anil. But when they were near the National Highway 19 in Dabchik Anil’s wife arrived there on a scooter, and managed to whisk him away.

It is not yet known, how she managed to dodge the three policemen to pull off this feat.
