Member of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Arrested In Salman Khan House Firing Case

Mumbai: One more member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was arrested by the Mumbai police in connection with the firing outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in April.

The accused was identified as Harpal Singh (34) from Fatehabad in Haryana. He was nabbed the Mumbai crime branch from Fatehabad on Monday evening.

He was brought to Mumbai on Tuesday morning. He is the sixth man to be arrested in connection with the firing incident.

On April 14, two bike-borne persons fired outside Salman Khan’s residence at the Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra area.

Singh’s name was revealed during the interrogation of accused Mohammed Rafique Chowdhary, another Bishnoi gang member who was arrested in the firing case.

Singh had asked Chowdhary to conduct a recce around Khan’s residence and also gave Rs 2-3 lakh to him.

Lawrence Bishnoi is currently incarcerated in the Sabarmati Central Prison in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad. His younger brother Anmol Bishnoi is believed to be in the US or Canada. Both have been named in the firing case.
