Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, V Karthikeyan Pandian, the 5T Secretary of the Odisha government, has chosen to take voluntary retirement from his position. This decision to retire voluntarily has been approved from the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
In a communication from the Under Secretary to the Government of India, Bhupinder Pal Singh, it was conveyed that the competent authority has granted approval for the acceptance of V Karthikeyan Pandian’s voluntary retirement.
Mr. Pandian, an IAS officer from the OD-2000 batch, is retiring under Rule 16 (2A) of the All India Services Rules, 1958. This retirement has been approved with a waiver of the notice period, as recommended by the State Government.
