13-Yr-Old Dalit Girl Burnt Alive When Out to Defecate in UP

Lucknow: A 13-year-old Dalit girl was burnt to death while she was out of her home to defecate in a village under the Haraiya Police Station jurisdiction in Uttar Pradesh.

A police investigation is on to find out how and why she was set on fire.

The girl did not return home after going to a nearby field to defecate on Friday evening to defecate. Her family started searching for her.

Later on, her charred body was found in the field.

Police have sent her body for post-mortem and have started an investigation into the case.
