5 of a Family Including 3 Kids Killed in LPG Cylinder Blast in Rajasthan

Jaipur: Five members of a family, including three minors, were charred to death when an LPG cylinder exploded at their home in Rajasthan’s Jaipur district on Thursday morning.

According to police sources, none of the family members could come out of the house after the cylinder blast as it occurred in a room near the entrance gate.

This mishap occurred at Jaisalya village in the Vishwakarma police station area at 7.30 am.

The deceased were identified as Rajesh (26), his wife Ruby (24), Ishu (7), Dilkhush (2) and Khushmani (4). The family hailed from Bihar’s Motihari district. Rajesh was working in a nearby factory.

Two fire brigades took over half-an-hour to bring the fire under control.  Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said, “The news of the untimely demise of five civilians due to the massive fire in Jaipur is heart-wrenching.”
