Odisha BJP Chief Manmohan Samal Announces Sate Body Ahead of Shah Visit

Bhubaneswar: Four months after taking charge, the president of the Odisha unit of the BJP announced his 35-member state body on Friday. This announcement comes ahead of Amit Shah’s arrival in Odisha on Friday night.

Aparajita Sarangi, Golak Prasad Mohapatra, Nauri Nayak, Kusum Tete, Lalitendu Bidyadhara Mohapatra, Rabi Nayak, Lekhashree Samantsinghar, among others, have been named vice-presidents.

Avilash Panda has been appointed president of BJP Yuva Morcha and Aishwarya Biswal of Mahila Morcha.

In March this year, Manmohan Samal was made BJP’s Odisha unit president. He was earlier in this post in 1998 and 2000.
