Two Die of Snake Bites in Ganjam District

Berhampur: Two persons died due to snake bites in separate incidents in the Tarsingh police station area in Ganjam district.

The deceased were Mohan Mallik of Delingipadar village and Premlata Panigrahi of Jadaghatami village. Both of them breathed their last at Bhanjanagar Sub-Divisional Hospital

Mohan was bitten by a snake, while he was returning home after work. Although he was immediately admitted to Bhanjnagar Medical Centre, doctors could not save him.

Premalata was bitten by a snake while she was asleep at her home. She was also admitted to Bhanjnagar Medical Center in critical condition, where she died.
