Odisha Congress Vice President Rajat Choudhury Resigns from Party

Bhubaneswar: Vice president of the Odisha unit of the Congress, Rajat Choudhury resigned from the party ahead of the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in the state.

Choudhury resigned from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect.

In the past, Choudhury was the state Youth President of the Congress from 2014 to 2016 and also held the position of the general secretary of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC).

Choudhury sent his resignation to PCC president Sarat Pattanayak and also sent its copy to the AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.
