Odisha Government Dissolves State Planning Board

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has officially dissolved the State Planning Board, a decision announced on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has given his approval for this move, as stated in a release from the Chief Minister’s Office.

This decision comes over a month after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured power in the state elections.

While the official release from the CM’s Office did not elaborate on the reasons behind the dissolution, sources suggest the imminent formation of a new board tailored to the BJP’s vision for Odisha’s development.
