Royal Bengal Tiger Carcass Found in Similipal Tiger Reserve  

Baripada: The body of a male Royal Bengal Tiger was found in Odisha’s Similipal Tiger Reserve (STR).

The carcass of the tiger was located by a patrolling team near a stream at Duduruchampa on February 5.

The dead big cat is estimated to be 3.5 years old, informed Prakash Chand Gogineni, Regional Chief Conservator of Forest, Similipal.

According to sources, there were marks on the carcass, so it cannot be said whether it died of any disease or any other reason.
