Simultaneous Vigilance Raids at Properties Linked to Chatrapur BEO

Berhampur: Simultaneous raids were conducted by the Odisha Vigilance Department at six locations linked to Sita Ram Patro, Block Education Officer (BEO) of Chatrapur in  Ganjam district on Saturday over allegations of amassing disproportionate assets.

Five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), four Inspectors, five Sub-Inspectors/Assistant Sub-Inspectors, and other supporting staff are involved in these searches based on warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge, Berhampur.

The six locations which are being raided include Patro’s residential buildings and flat at Ramakrushna Nagar and Khordhasingh in Berhampur, two buildings at Kolisahi in Ganjam, a relative’s house in Kalinganagar in Berhampur and the BEO office in Chatrapur in Ganjam.
