Teacher Killed, 2 Injured in Knife Attack in School in France

A teacher lost his life in a knife attack in a school in France’s northern city of Arras on Friday. Another teacher and the school’s security guard were injured in this violent incident.

The attacker was arrested. Some local media reported that the assailant shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the attack. But police have not confirmed it.

The attacker was about 20 years old and could have been a former student, reported BFM TV.

The deceased was a French language teacher, while a sports teacher was injured.

French interior minister Gerald Darmanin said a police operation was underway in a school, without giving further details.
