To Hide Extra-Marital Affair, Woman Kills Hubby, Buries Body in Nayagarh

Nayagarh: The body of a man missing for 20 days from Komanda village under Odagaon police station limits in Nayagarh district was exhumed on Thursday evening.

Father of the deceased alleged that the wife of the victim killed him and buried his body. The deceased was identified as Prakash Nayak of Komanda village.

The body of the victim was exhumed by the police in the presence of Odagaon Magistrate.

It is alleged that when her illicit affair was found out by her husband, the woman killed her husband and buried his body at her home.

Prakash used to stay used to stay at his in-laws’ house. His father got suspicious over a bulge on the floor in his in-laws’ house which he found after the disappearance of his son.

The police have detained Prakash’s wife, her boyfriend and her mother for interrogation in connection to the case.
