To Pick New CMs, BJP Declares Central Observers for 3 States

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday announced central observers for electing the leaders of its legislature parties in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.

The party wants new chief ministers for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to be named over the weekend.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Vinod Tawade and Saroj Pandey were named the observers for Rajasthan.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, K Laxman and Asha Lakra are the observers for Madhya Pradesh.

Union Ministers Arjun Munda, Sarbananda Sonowal and Dushyant Gautam were named for Chhattisgarh.

As per reports, these observers will travel to their respective states to oversee the meetings of newly elected MLAs where the future chief ministers will be named.
