Two Killed as Their Bike Hits Parked Truck in Balasore

Balasore: Two bikers were killed near Uluda Square under Kamarda police station in Balasore on Thursday night when their bike hit a parked truck.

According to sources, the driver of the bike lost balance and collided with a truck stationed on the roadside near Uluda. It is suspected that due to dense fog, the person driving the bike could not see the parked truck.

Three persons were travelling on the ill-fated bike. Two of them died in the accident while the other was critically injured. The accident probably happened due to dense fog last night.

The deceased have been identified as Akash Bhakta of Baharda village and Biswa Bikash Parida of Vrindavanpur village in the Balasore district. The critically injured Sunil Behera has been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
