Two Youths Die as Bike Hits Tractor in Koraput Dist

Koraput: Two youths died when their bike was hit by a tractor in Odisha’s Koraput district on Friday night.

This accident occurred near a students’ hostel at Hataguda under Padua police station in the district. The wood log loaded tractor laden with wood logs was entering the hostel premises, when three youths on a bike coming from the opposite direction had a head-on collision with it.

One of the youths died on the spot. The other two were seriously injured. They were admitted to a hospital at Lamtaput, where another youth succumbed to his injuries.

The tractor driver escaped from the spot after the accident. Personnel of the Padua police station reached the spot to start an investigation.
