Wild Leopard Creates Panic in Sambalpur Dist, Kills 7 Goats

Rairakhol: A wild leopard reportedly killed and ate up seven goats sparking off panic in the Rairakhol area of the Sambalpur district. According to reports, this leopard attack on goats occurred near Mangalapur village near Kholgarh Reserved Forest under the Rairakhol Forest Division.

It is reported that one Yogesh Lakra of Mangalapur village went to the forest on Thursday to graze his goats. When he returned back in the evening, he found seven of his goats missing.

On Friday morning, when Yogesh started to search for his missing goats, he is said to have seen a wild leopard eating his goat in the forest.

Yogesh immediately informed it to the forest department. A team of forest officials reached the spot to start an investigation.
