Woman Gang Raped Before Husband in Puri Dist, One Accused Nabbed

Puri: A woman was allegedly gang raped before her tied-up husband in the Brahmagiri area under the Arakhakunda Marine Police station limits in Puri district on Friday night.

As per a complaint filed by the victim at the police station, two persons identified as Trinath Behera and Bulu Behera gang raped her in a mango orchard.

According to the victim, on Friday night Trinath called her husband to the mango orchard. Her husband was made inebriated and then the accused tied up his hand and legs.

Hearing her husband scream for help, she rushed to the mango orchard. She alleged that there the two accused dragged her to a corner of the orchard and gang raped her.

Meanwhile, police have started an investigation into the incident and arrested one of the accused.
