Indian CEO of American Firm Dies in Freak Accident During Silver Jubilee Celebration in Ramoji Film City

Hyderabad: The CEO of an American firm died and another official was seriously injured in a freak accident during the silver jubilee celebrations of the company at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

This accident occurred during the celebrations of the company on Thursday evening at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The deceased was identified as Vistex CEO Sanjay Shah.

Shah and his colleague Raju Datla entered into an iron cage, which was to be lowered from a height as part of the event. But one of the two iron chains supporting the cage broke and both men fell to the ground from a height of over 15 feet.

They were rushed to a hospital, where Shah died while the condition of his colleague was serious.

Police have registered a case against the Film City event management authorities.

Vistex had arranged accommodations for its staff at Ramoji Film City and had planned a two-day celebration for its silver jubilee.
