School Headmaster Booked for Raping 2 Minor Girls in Kendrapara Dist

Kendrapara: Pramod Kumar Pradhan, a 45-year-old headmaster of a private school under Rajnagar police station in Odisha’s Kendrapara district was taken into custody by the police on charges of raping two minor girls of the school.

As per the complaint, the headmaster allegedly sexually assaulted the two girl students of class VII on January 16 on the school premises. Both victims are aged 13 years.

The parents of the girls came to know about the shocking act of the headmaster when both the girls refused to go attend school. Later the victims disclosed what they had suffered at the hands of the accused headmaster.

Taking the erring headmaster into custody, police have booked him under Sections 376 (f), 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 506 (criminal Intimation) of IPC and Section 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) 2012.
