13-Yr-Old Girl Kidnapped from UP by Teenager, Raped in Hyderabad

Lucknow: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by a 19-year-old youth from a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia district and was taken to Hyderabad where she was raped for almost a week.

According to information provided by UP police on Tuesday, the victim was rescued on November 25 from Maniyar police station area in Ballia. The 19-year-old accused was arrested on November 27.

According to police sources, the accused was a neighbour of the victim. He abducted the girl on November 18, and a case was registered against him as per the complaint lodged by her father.

According to the rescued girl, the accused took her to Hyderabad and raped her for almost a week.

Following the girl’s statement, the accused was booked under section 376 (rape) IPC and POCSO Act.
