Man Beats Elder Brother To Death For Scolding Wife in Nagpur

Nagpur: A 25-year-old man allegedly thrashed his elder brother to death in Nagpur city of Maharashtra as he scolded the former’s wife.

The incident occurred in the Hingna area of Nagpur city on Sunday. Initially, the investigating police officials had considered it to be a case of accidental death. But the post-mortem report on Wednesday confirmed that the deceased died of injuries.

The police interrogated Govind, and he confessed that he committed the murder. He was then arrested.

The accused identified as Govind Chowkhe beat his his 36-year-old brother Kisan to death following a quarrel. The brothers and their families lived in the same house with their mother.

Kisan reportedly scolded Govind’s wife over some family matter. This made Gobind angry, who hit Kisan on his chest and head multiple times. Seriously injured Kisan was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
