Man Claiming to be Dawood Associate & Threatening PM Modi, Yogi Adityanath Arrested by Mumbai Police

Mumbai: A man making threatening calls to the police control room claiming to be an associate of dreaded gangster Dawood Ibrahim was arrested, said Mumbai Police on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the arrested person claimed that he was directed by the Dawood gang to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

The arrested man also threatened to blast Mumbai’s prominent JJ Hospital.

The police have booked him under section 505 (2) of the Indian Penal Code for statements promoting enmity, hatred, or ill-will between different religious, racial, language, or regional groups or castes.
