Man Murders Daughter on Father’s Day For Refusing to Get Married  

New Delhi: A woman was allegedly brutally murdered by her father in Delhi on Sunday, Father’s Day. The accused left the body of the deceased in a field.

The blood-soaked body of the young woman was found in a field near Delhi’s Kanjhawala area on Sunday.

According to the police, the woman wanted to marry her boyfriend. But her father, Nandkishore, wanted to get her married to someone of his choice.

When his daughter did not agree to his proposal, on Sunday, Nandkishore, who works as a glass-cutter, allegedly took the girl to the field in a cab. There he used a glass cutter to murder her.

He was allegedly drunk when he committed the crime. Nandkishore has been arrested.
