Gym-Trainer Stabbed to Death Before Marriage, Absconding Father Prime Suspect

New Delhi: A 29-year-old gym trainer Gaurav Singhal was stabbed 15 times in his face and chest at his south Delhi home on Thursday. He was murdered a few hours before his scheduled marriage. Police are searching for his absconding father, who is suspected to be involved in the killing.

Police are interrogating the victim’s younger brother and a relative in relation to the case. The motive behind this murder at the Devli Extension area of south Delhi is yet to be ascertained.

Primary investigation has hinted there was some dispute between the father and the son.

The entire family could not hear the screams of the deceased because of the beats of the dhol playing near the house for the marriage ceremony. Police are checking CCTV footage of the area.
