Man Thrashes Live-In Partner’s 7-Yr-Old Son to Death, Arrested

New Delhi: A 28-year-old man was arrested by the Gurugram police for allegedly beating the seven-year-old son of his live-in partner in the Rajendra Park area.

The accused also beat up and injured the victim’s brother, who is undergoing treatment.

The arrested accused, Vinit Chaudhary, a native of Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh, was working in a private company in Gurugram. He was in a live-in relationship with the woman. They lived with the woman’s two sons in the Rajendra Park area.

According to the complaint filed by the deceased boy’s grandfather, Vinit used to beat the two sons of his live-in partner Manu (9) and Preet (7) in her absence.

On Sunday evening, Vinit thrashed both children in the absence of their mother. The injured boys were rushed to a hospital. Preet died in the hospital while Manu was undergoing treatment.

The police arrested the accused on Monday from the Rajendra Park area.
