Woman Molested In Ambulance in UP, Ailing Husband Thrown Out Removing Oxygen Support

Lucknow: A woman was allegedly molested in an ambulance in Uttar Pradesh. Her ailing husband was allegedly thrown out of the ambulance by the ambulance workers after removing his oxygen support. The woman’s husband died during treatment at Gorakhpur Medical College of UP.

According to media reports, this inhuman incident occurred in the Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh on August 30.

The woman’s husband Harish was ailing and was admitted to the Basti Medical College. Unable to pay the private hospital’s fee, the woman decided to take her husband back home in an ambulance.

It is alleged that inside the ambulance, the driver compelled her to sit in front with him and his aide. They allegedly sexually harassed her. When she protested and shouted for help, they detached her husband’s oxygen supply and threw him out of the ambulance along with her.

She alleged that the ambulance driver also stole her jewelry. After the victim narrated her ordeal to her brother on phone, he informed the police. The police admitted the injured man to the hospital where he died later

A case has been registered and an investigation is on.
