Google launched street view in 10 cities of India

Google is going to give great convenience to its Indian consumers very soon. In fact, Google has launched street view, a feature of Google maps for 10 cities of India. With the arrival of these new features, users using Google maps will get 360 degree interactive panorama view in the map.

In a press-conference held in the capital city Delhi on Wednesday, Google has given information about the new feature. It has been informed by Google that this feature (Street view service) of the initial phase Google maps is being brought for only 10 cities. This feature of Google Maps will cover 150,000km of roads in 10 cities. At the same time, Google has set its target to provide this facility to 50 cities of India by the end of this year. Google has named this project as Gullify. In the initial phase, this feature of Google maps is being brought to Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Nashik, Vadodara, Ahmednagar, and Amritsar.

Google’s Vice President has informed that mapping of government, defense military areas will not be done in this service. He said that his partners better understand which data should not be used at all. Let us tell you that Google has partnered with Genesis (Mumbai based international company) Tech Mahindra for this facility.
