Google Introduces Virtual Walkie-Talkie Feature for ‘Jawan’; Here’s How to Access

Google has joined the excitement surrounding the film “Jawan” by introducing a virtual walkie-talkie feature that pays tribute to Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic “Readyyyy?” dialogue from the movie. The film, directed by Atlee, made a spectacular worldwide debut on September 7, garnering widespread acclaim.

To access this feature, simply type “Jawan” in the Google search bar, and a walkie-talkie icon will appear at the bottom of the screen. Clicking on it triggers a response in Shah Rukh Khan’s voice, enthusiastically declaring “Ready,” while the browser page playfully adopts elements from the movie’s theme.

In “Jawan,” Shah Rukh Khan’s character, Azad, relies on a walkie-talkie to communicate with the police while holding the Mumbai metro hostage, along with his group of associates. Google’s creative twist is a nod to this memorable moment from the action-packed film.

The box office reports for “Jawan” are nothing short of impressive. The film enjoyed a phenomenal opening day, amassing around Rs 75 crore nett in Hindi, Rs 5 crore nett in Tamil, and Rs 5 crore nett in Telugu, resulting in a total Day 1 earning of Rs 75 crore nett. Moreover, “Jawan” has left a significant mark in international markets, grossing approximately Rs 140 crore worldwide.

In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, the film boasts an ensemble cast, including Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt make cameo appearances, contributing to the star-studded lineup of the movie.
