Ollywood Actor Held for Alleged Obscene Video Calls to Actresses

Cuttack: Cuttack Cyber Police have arrested Mithun Bhoi, an Ollywood actor, for allegedly making lewd video calls to several Odia movie and TV actresses. Bhoi, recognized for his supporting villain portrayals in the Ollywood industry, reportedly operated a fake WhatsApp profile using the identity of an Odia film producer.

The accused engaged in explicit conversations and conducted indecent video calls with actresses through the fake account. Sources indicate that Bhoi’s motives revolved around tarnishing the reputations of the actresses involved. A complaint lodged by Odia movie producer Sudhansu Mohan Sahu prompted the preliminary investigation that led to Bhoi’s arrest.

The investigation unveiled that Bhoi illicitly utilized Sahu’s identity to perpetrate his actions. The police seized two mobile phones and an equal number of SIM cards from Bhoi during his apprehension.

“Our probe, triggered by the complaint filed by Sudhansu Mohan Sahu, exposed the accused’s fraudulent activities. He exploited the fake profile to make explicit video calls to actresses in the industry. The arrested individual will be presented before the court,” stated Anil Mishra, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Cuttack.
