Rajkumar Hirani to Make OTT Debut with Vikrant Massey

Mumbai: Following the success of ‘Dunki’, noted Bollywood director Rajkumar Hirani is all set to make his first appearance in the digital world of entertainment with an upcoming OTT series featuring actor Vikrant Massey.

According to Hirani, his new venture will stream on Disney Hotstar. He will be the showrunner for the upcoming series rather than the director.

“It’s something I’m very happy about with the script and the way it has panned out. On this show, I’m really involved, and it’s in my own space,” Hirani revealed in an interview.

Hirani is remembered for his iconic films like the “Munnabhai” series, “3 Idiots,” “PK,” and the biopic “Sanju”.

“Luckily, COVID-19 gave us the time to sit at home and work on more scripts. I’m working on more scripts now in a month or so, and we’ll start deciding where we will go,” he said.

Hirani’s foray into the digital space with Vikrant Massey in tow, promises some new experiments in storytelling and cinematic creativity.
