Sara Ali Khan’s Patriotic Period Drama ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ to Release on March 21

Mumbai: ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ starring Sara Ali Khan in the lead will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 21, on occasion of the World Radio Day. It will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Directed by Kannan Iyer, Ae Watan Mere Watan is a fictional pre-independence period drama about an underground radio station helping India’s struggle for independence during the British Raj.

This movie is inspired by the life of freedom fighter Usha Mehta and pays homage to the numerous unsung freedom fighters.

‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ also has Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O’ Neil, and Anand Tiwari. Emraan Hashmi makes a special guest appearance in it.

This historical thriller is backed by the expertise of Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra.
