Fire Accident at Delhi AIIMS, No Casualties

New Delhi: A fire accident occurred at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Thursday morning.

The fire was reported in the Reproductive Biology Department on the second floor of the hospital. But no one was injured in the incident.

The fire broke out at around 5.25 am. Seven fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control by 6.20 am.

“No one was injured in the incident.

In a statement, AIIMS said the cause of the fire was a short circuit in a refrigerator. No casualty was reported and there is no damage to property, the statement added.
