Major Fire Breaks Out at NTPC Plant at Kaniha

Talcher: A major fire accident occurred at the NTPC plant at Kaniha in Talcher of Odisha’s Angul district on Saturday.

According to sources, the fire was reported at the conveyor belt. The reason behind this fire accident has not been confirmed. Because of the fire, the whole area got covered with smoke.

Fire Services personnel rushed to the spot to douse the fire. According to sources, for some reason the coal on the coveyor belt in the NTPC plant caught fire.
