Shah Rukh Khan’s Quirky Response: “I Like Bald Girls” About His ‘Jawan’ Look

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan’s bald look in the movie “Jawan” grabbed the audience’s attention well before the film hit theatres. The teaser featuring his unique appearance piqued curiosity among fans. As the film continues to rake in stellar reviews and dominate the box office, Shah Rukh Khan recently shared insights into his bald look in an interview with IMDB.

When asked about his decision to go bald for the movie, Khan revealed, “It was never part of the script. It was a part of the get-up that was a part of the script. I just chose the bald look out of laziness. I said, ‘Yeah, then I don’t have to wear 2 hours of this makeup, can I just go bald?’ So I think it came out of that. I had reservations because I showed the promo to some friends and they were like, ‘Arey yaar! It looks very scary, girls won’t like you.’ So I hope girls like me. I hope girls like bald men. I like bald girls.”

This isn’t the first time Khan has discussed his unconventional appearance in the movie. While promoting “Jawan” in Dubai before its release, he jokingly remarked that this would be the “first and last” time he’d be seen bald in a film. He urged fans to appreciate his effort, saying, “I even went bald for you all. At least, honour that and watch the film in theatres. You may or may not get another chance to see me bald.”

“Jawan” has been making waves since its release on September 7, earning over ₹347 crore within just seven days. Shah Rukh Khan has been actively engaging with industry friends and fan clubs on social media, adding to the movie’s buzz.
