‘The Kerala Story’ Teaser Out; Shows Horror of Forced Religious Conversions of Women

Mumbai: The teaser of Adah Sharma starrer ‘The Kerala Story’ was unveiled on Thursday. It tells the story of human tragedy as it digs up the events behind 32,000 women going missing in Kerala.

The teaser features 1920 fame Adah Sharma in her character of a converted Muslim woman Fatima Ba. She is seen narrating her ordeal of how she once wanted to become a nurse but later was abducted from her home and manipulated by religious forerunners and turned into an ISIS terrorist, in a piece of camera set up.

The teaser is very impactful as it shows the real event that shook entire Kerala. ‘The Kerala Story’ is produced by Vipul Shah and directed by Sudipto Sen backed by 4 years of extensive and thorough research.

According to sources, director Sudipto Sen personally traveled to the state and to the Arab countries, met with the locals and families of the victims, and was shocked by the information he get.

‘The Kerala Story’ will be released next year.
