Fourth Monkeypox Case Reported in Pakistan

Another case of monkeypox or Mpox virus infection was confirmed in Pakistan.

The fourth case was detected in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province of Pakistan. Earlier authorities confirmed three previous infections of monkeypox in this region.

The infected man was identified by a medical team at Peshawar airport during screening. He was handed over to the the Police and Services Hospital (PSH).

All monkeypox positive persons in Pakistan returned from abroad. So, far no local cases of monkeypox has been reported in the Islamic nation.
