Oncologist Sandeep K Mishra honored in Dubai for discovery of drug to destroy breast cancer

Dubai (Odisha Bhaskar): Senior Molecular Oncologist Dr Sandeep K Mishra has been honored in Dubai for his discovery of tumor suppressor genes in breast cancer. Dr. Sandeep K Mishra, Senior Molecular Oncologist under Technology at DBT Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar was invited as the Honoree and Key Note Scribe at the International Conference on Molecular Oncology Dubai 2022. He initiated the proceedings with the counsel of the Government of Dubai which was held on 17 June, 2022. His visit was supported by the Academic Chapter of IMRF, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Mishra has been awarded the UAE Indo Biju Kennedy Distinguished Research Excellence Award 2022, which recognizes sustained excellence in molecular oncology. Dr. Mishra presented his progress on drugs that destroy breast cancer. He also mentioned his recent developments on tumor suppressor molecules such as ERRB and MICoA. Dr. Mishra was previously working as a faculty member at UTMD ANDERSON Cancer Center, Texas, USA. He has worked for Nature, Spinger Group of Journals and other intentionally renowned journals.

Dr. Mishra has previously attended many conferences in the US as Chairman and Keynote Speaker. He was a lifetime advisory member of the Singapore Academy of Sciences and a member of the American Association for Cancer Research. He is recognized worldwide for the discovery of tumor suppressor genes in breast cancer. Some breast cancer drug discoveries have been published in the Naturegroup_of_Journals, which are undergoing extensive human trials and are expected to contribute to cancer treatment. The Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology and Department of Biotechnology has approved to help him develop drugs for breast cancer. His work is dedicated to advancing research to fight breast cancer and he is committed to make history.
