Kabul Education Centre Blast Claims 100 Children’s Lives: Reports

Kabul: Another suicide bombing case has come to the fore which led to the claim of as many as 100 children’s lives.

According to a report released by BBC, The blast took place at the Kaaj education centre in the Dasht-e-Barchi area in the west of the city, and students, mostly Hazaras and Shias, were killed in the incident.

A video before the blast showing the class of students that was targeted was also shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

A local journalist, Bilal Sarwary, tweeted, “We have so far counted 100 dead bodies of our students. The number of students killed is much higher. The classroom was packed. This was a mock university entrance exam, so students could prepare for the real one.”

Reportedly, Dashte Barche in West Kabul has been constantly the target of deadly ISKP attacks. Hazaras and Shias were murdered inside their classrooms, his tweet read further.

Interior ministry spokesman Abdul Nafy Takor tweeted: “Attacking civilian targets proves the enemy’s inhuman cruelty and lack of moral standards.”

Meanwhile, there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
