US Soldier Who Entered North Korea Charged With Child Porn, Desertion

The American Army has charged Travis King, the US soldier who fled to North Korea in July, for desertion, and soliciting and possessing sexual images of a child, reported the BBC.

The charges against him also include assault against fellow soldiers.

Travis King was brought back to the US in September after North Korea released him.

The US Army has not declared anything officially about the charges against Travis. But as per reports, he is facing eight charges, including disobeying a superior officer, reported CNN.

Travis King was on duty with the US Army when he crossed the North Korean border.
