Make Tomato Rice in minutes

Ingredients Required:-

  • Rice: 2 cups (cooked)
  • Oil: 3-4 tsp
  • Mustard: 1 tsp
  • Cumin: 1 tsp
  • Chana dal: 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek: 1/4 tsp
  • Cinnamon : 1 inch
  • Cloves: 3-4
  • Curry Leaves: 10-12
  • Cashew: 5-6
  • Chopped Onion: 1 (chopped)
  • Green Chillies: 2 (divide it into two parts)
  • Tomatoes: 2 (chopped)
  • Ginger Garlic paste: 1 tsp
  • Turmeric : 1/4 tsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chillies: 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt: 1/2 tsp (according to taste)
  • Mint leaves: (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves: (chopped)

Recipe:-

  1. First put the pan on the gas and put oil in it.
  2. Then add mustard, cumin, fenugreek, lentils, sugar, cloves, curry leaves, green chilies and chana dal and roast it for a while.
  3. Then put cashew nuts in it and roast it till it turns brown. Then put onion in it and cook it till it turns brown.
  4. Then put tomato in it and cook it on low flame.
  5. Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder and salt to it.
  6. Then put mint leaves in it and mix it well.
  7. After it is completely cooked, it will become like a complete pasty, then put the cooked rice in it and mix it slowly.
  8. Then cook it for 5 minutes.
  9. Then add coriander leaves and mix it and turn off the gas.

And now take it out in a serving plate or bowl. And our hot tomato rice is ready.
