Ahmedabad Jaguar Accident: Driver Arrested, Father Detained

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Police have made significant progress in the investigation of the tragic incident that occurred on the ISKCON Bridge in Ahmedabad. Tathya Patel, the driver of the speeding Jaguar car that rammed into a crowd, resulting in the death of nine people and injuring ten others, has been arrested. Moreover, Prajnesh Patel, Tathya’s father, has also been detained in connection with the incident.

Following their arrest, the father-son duo was taken to the accident spot on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar (SG) highway, where the collision took place.

The incident, which happened at approximately 1 AM, involved a gathering of people at the ISKCON bridge in Ahmedabad. Tragically, among the deceased were a police constable and a home guard jawan.
