WATCH: Ambulance with Patient Stopped on Patna Highway for CM Nitish Kumar’s Convoy

Patna: A video of an ambulance being halted on a highway to make way for Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s convoy has gone viral, sparking outrage on social media.

The video shows the ambulance stopped on the side of the road, while the patient’s family members plead with police officers to let them pass. The officers refused, saying they had been instructed to give way to the CM’s convoy.

The incident has raised concerns about the prioritization of VIP movements over critical medical emergencies. Many people have taken to social media to express their anger and disappointment, calling the incident a “shame” and a “betrayal of public trust.”

The Bihar government has yet to issue an official response to the incident. However, the opposition BJP has seized on the opportunity to attack the CM, calling him “insensitive” and “uncaring.”

The incident has also sparked a debate about the need for better traffic management in Bihar. Many people believe that the state government should take steps to ensure that ambulances are not delayed by VIP convoys.
