Another Kashmiri Pandit Killed By Terrorists In J&K; 2nd Attack In Two Days

Srinagar: Another Kashmiri Pandit was killed while his brother was critically injured after allegedly shot dead by terrorists in Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Sunil Kumar Bhatt, while his brother has been identified as Pintu Kumar Bhatt.

“Terrorists fired upon civilians in an apple orchard in Chotipora area of #Shopian. One person died and one was injured. Both belong to minority communities. The injured person has been shifted to hospital. The area was cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir police tweeted from its official handle.

This is the second attack on non-migrant Pandits in Kashmir in less than 24 hours. Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
