Mumbai: All-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed has replaced Washington Sundar in the India squad for the three-match One-Day International series against Zimbabwe.
India and Zimbabwe will play three ODIs on August 18, 20 and 22 at the Harare Sports Club.
Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder Shahbaz has been added to the India ODI squad after Washington, who suffered an injury to his shoulder while playing a county game in England, was ruled out of the Zimbabwe tour.
On August 11, Washington landed heavily on his left shoulder while fielding for Lancashire against Worcestershire in a Royal London One-Day Cup match in Manchester. The India all-rounder left the field after receiving treatment to his shoulder.
Washington has not played for India since the ODI series against West Indies in February 2022.
