BJP Will Return To Power With Two-Third Majority In Himachal: Amit Shah

Shimla: Ahead of Himachal Pradesh elections, citing BJP’s victory in Uttarakhand assembly polls with a two-third majority, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the Party will change the pattern in Himachal Pradesh elections as well.

Shah said Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his strong willpower has ended the 55-year struggle of Hati community in Giri area of Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh to get tribal status.

Addressing a public meeting in Sataun area of Sirmour he said, the decision will benefit 1 lakh 60 thousand population of 154 panchayats. Speaking about the development of the poll-bound state, Shah said, be it pharma, roads, medicine, hydropower, agriculture, train connectivity, and education, Himachal Pradesh has left no stone unturned in any field for its people under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

The Home Minister also launched the BJP’s election campaign song “Himachal Ki Pukar Fir BJP ki Sarkar”.

The Assembly election in the state is scheduled to take place on November 12.
